About Us

In 2007 the start of a 4-H project, which would lead to much bigger things, began. Sheep have always been a part of our family, a small flock of Dorset ewes already called our farm home at the time of the purchase of a Natural Colored Romney ewe lamb named "Clover". The following spring an orphan lamb called "Bitsy" was the newest addition. The second generation of love for sheep continued to be fueled. When Nicole was award the Oregon Romney Breeders Association's starter flock award, white Romneys were also added to the farm. The Dorset flock also added it's own spotaniuos suprise in 2009 with the birth of a natural colored lamb that would start a new flock of purebred Natural Colored Dorsets.

Having a large number of wool producing animals led to the development of farm grown wool products. The yarn and roving that is processed from our flock's wool is milled at small local fiber mills located in the Willamette Valley. Raw fleeces are also sold to spinners and fiber artists.

Today our Romney flock consists of approximatley 30 Romney ewes which are known for their beautiful fleeces. The purebred Dorset flock, while small, is made up of white, black/gray, and moorit ewes. Our sheep and their wool products can be seen at local fiber festival shows such as Black Sheep Gathering and Oregon Flock & Fiber Festival. Our sheep can also been seen exhibited at the Oregon State Fair.
